What is Meaning of Socioholic

In today's smartphone world every one is familiar with social media and related stuff. Whether it is Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, or any other social media they are designed to engage a user that's for sure.

Since our site is named after a Social word so it became necessary to explain the meaning of that word so Socioholic is nothing but the contraction variant of Sociolholic. So in this post, we try to explain that. Sociolholic word is a combination of two words Social + holic.

1. Here Social means Social media networks like Facebook, Instagram, etc &
2. –holic is used as a suffix meaning “a person who has an addiction to or obsession with some object or activity.”

According to the urban dictionary, Sociolholic means:

1. A person with a severe dependency on social networks. These people continuously post, comment, and read the feeds of their friends and followers with complete disregard for those around them. 
2. The uncontrollable desire for someone needing to share every event that happens to them on social networking sites.
